Man accused of taking an ATV from HWEA | WKDZ Radio

A Hopkinsville man was reportedly discovered shortly after taking an ATV on Friday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police mentioned Lonnie Stewart, 31, picked up an ATV from the Hopkinsville Water Atmosphere Authority on East ninth Avenue and was at a gasoline station shortly after.

In line with police, after reviewing the digital camera footage, Stewart was recognized as the one who took the ATV. It was found that he had the keys to the car and a few marijuana on him.

He allegedly took officers to the ATV which was parked close to East tenth Avenue and Coleman Avenue.

Stewart is charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of marijuana.
